Four men from Manchester have been detained, imprisoned and charged with the ‘intention of committing acts of terrorism’.

A Muslim religious leader facing similar allegations was released last month after widespread protests against the detention of another innocent man.

As the Afghan war has intensified so have the attacks on Muslims at home:

Ten Pakistani students arrested and released without charge but immediately rearrested under immigration powers following their release and detained in UK prisons awaiting deportation.

Sixty youth arrested and charged with 'violent disorder' demonstrating against Israel ’s violent assault on Gaza.

Increases in hate crimes, including repeated desecration of the graves at the cemetery.

We believe this is a direct result of the Governments failing policy on the “war on terror”. It should not be that it is considered ‘a crime to be a Muslim’.
