The following are the Aims of Talking2Minds:

"Talking2minds is a Registered Charity 1131142 with a unique process that 'eradicates the symptoms of PTSD' and assists suffers regain their self worth, find their purpose in life and fulfill their potential. Many of these people are held back because of negative experiences.

We assist people to make changes quickly and move forward in their lives. We offer help to anyone who has experienced trauma or negative experiences and are displaying the symptoms of PTSD, whether they have or have not been diagnosed by the medical system.

Most people are unaware of the true impact of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. If you've found your way to our website, there is a good chance that you, or someone you know, are one of the many thousands of people in the UK affected by Post Traumatic Stress each year. You are not alone.

If you think you may be suffering from Post Traumatic Stress or trauma, your symptoms may include any of the following:-

  • Flashbacks, nightmares or night-time terrors
  • Feelings of depression, isolation, loneliness and confusion
  • Insomnia, irritability, hyper-alertness, hyper vigilance
  • Inappropriate anger
  • Excessive drink or drug use
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Self harm or harming others
  • Severe mood swings and aggression
  • Do you find yourself unable to do things that you once were able to do?
  • Is your behaviour affecting your quality of life?
  • Have people close to you commented that you are somehow different from before?

All these symptoms are completely natural emotional reactions to deeply disturbing and usually unnatural experiences.

If you know a family member or a friend to whom these symptoms apply, then your life may be affected as well. Our help can be extended to the families and partners of those affected, in order to address their current responses and give them the tools to contribute to the healing process.

The good news is that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder does not have to be part of your life."

With talking2minds, people can find the help they need to re-build their lives and free themselves from the traumas and stresses that they are experiencing.

We are a charity, so if you think you can help us with time, ideas or donations, your contribution is always welcome and will go to help others with stress related disorders.
