1. Gaza Solidarity Protest Vigil - 5.30pm Friday 15th January
One year ago, in opposition to Israel's deadly assault on Gaza, we
held a daily protest vigils outside the BBC on Oxford Rd. Manchester,
and thousands marched in towns across the region in the biggest
display of solidarity with the Palestinians ever seen in Britain.
Today Gaza is still under siege, Israel faces 'war crimes' charges
arising from the Goldstone Commission, and aid from the Viva Palestina!
convoy is blocked by governments in Egypt and Israel.
Support for the Palestinians today is greater than ever, the Boycott
Divestment and Sanctions Campaign grows stronger.
Join the anniversary vigil outside the BBC on Oxford Rd.
Called by Greater Manchester STWC & Manchester MAB
